Auction registration

All prospective buyers must register by 11am on the sale day. Outside agents are welcome and must register prospective buyers by 11am on the sale day to gain a rebate.

Delivery

Sheep sold on the day must be taken from Trigger Vale by 11 September 2026. All care will be taken of the rams, however responsibility for loss or injury will be borne by the buyer from the fall of the hammer. We recommend Livestock Insurance for all rams.

Fibre diameter analysis

Riverina Wool Testers, using CSIRO Laser Scan, tested the rams on 27 April 2026. The rams had 6.0 months wool growth at the time. This information should be used only as a guide. Trigger Vale accepts no responsibility for the accuracy.

Health status

Trigger Vale is a Brucellosis Accredited Free Flock and fully vaccinated for Johne's Disease. The Trigger Vale stud flock has owner-declared footrot free status.

Semen marketing policy

All Trigger Vale rams are sold subject to the following conditions:

1. Semen ownership. Trigger Vale owns the commercial rights to the animal's semen permanently. The Purchaser may use the semen, naturally or by AI, on their own flock or herd only. The Purchaser cannot sell or commercially deal with the semen or semen rights.
2. Joint ownership. If the animal is bought by a syndicate, partnership or other joint arrangement, all member names must be listed on the bidder card at registration before the sale.
3. Whole interest only. The Purchaser cannot sell, lease or transfer part of their interest in the animal — only the whole interest.
4. Transfers. If the animal is sold, gifted or otherwise transferred, these rules go with it. The Purchaser must get the new owner's agreement to these rules and guarantees they will be followed.
5. Semen collection. Trigger Vale may call the animal in at any time during its life for semen collection. Trigger Vale pays for transport both ways. All semen collected is the property of Trigger Vale.
6. Timing and location. Trigger Vale decides when the animal is called in and where it goes.
7. Use of semen. Trigger Vale has unrestricted rights to use, sell or breed from the semen of any animal covered by these rights.
8. Cloning. The Purchaser cannot clone the animal.
