Trigger Vale

Who we are

Progress beats tradition.

Sheep have changed — the industry hasn’t caught up. Running sheep should be simple, profitable and scalable. Trigger Vale makes it so.

Purpose

To redefine what Merinos can do — for farmers, flocks, and the future.

Vision

Simplify Merino farming and unlock their potential as premium meat sheep.

Mission

Deliver genetics that thrive, reduce workload, and drive high-value lamb — while keeping wool profitable.

What we commit to, on every animal we sell.

  1. 01Balance every trait a producer gets paid for — never chase single-trait extremes.
  2. 02Record, verify and publish the data behind every animal.
  3. 03Stay mules-free and welfare-led without trading away profit.
  4. 04Prove the genetics in independent trials and real client flocks.
The people

The people behind the genetics.

Andrew Bouffler

Andrew Bouffler

Stud Principal & Owner

Andrew is a fourth-generation producer with 35 years in stud sheep, owning and managing both the Poll Merino and White Suffolk studs. A Nuffield Scholarship 20 years ago set his direction: a mules-free, meat-focused Merino bred for commercial profit. He was an early adopter of ASBVs and genomic testing, and built the measure-everything discipline behind every ram Trigger Vale sells.
